Let's just add another craft/hobby to my ever growing list: crocheting. I'm rather enjoying it, this book I bought has some really great projects in it. Hopefully, this "phase" will last more than five minutes. I really want to learn how to do the cute wrap sweater in this book!

How funny, I just was thinking I really wanted to learn how to crochet so I could make Sadie and the soon-to-be new baby cute little hats for the winter. Perfect to stumble across this book on your blog! I just ordered it on Amazon. . . and like you I'm hoping this new "project" sticks and I actually finish something. Wait, let's just say I hope to actually figure out how to crochet in the first place. I've never done it before. Seems doable though. Good luck to you with your projects!
you will have to teach me. didn't we try to figure out knitting once when we were both first married? that was the same time that we made truffles and christmas stockings, if i remember correctly.
i LOVE that you try so many new things and that you show off your work on your blog! You have inspired me to find the finish line on all the projects i have around my house....and then to start sewing again. i learned how to crochet once--loved it, relaxing, calming, etc... but can't sit still now long enough to get anything done! (it's also been a good 15 years or so since i last picked up those little needle things--can't even remember what they are called now!)
still LOVING your blog...

(BTW--did i finally get kicked off the park day invites because i keep forgetting to show up? now that the weather is great....my kids have been asking everyday so i shouldn't still be forgetting)
Hey-just wanted you to know I visited. I love your posts-they offer a great variety, fun photos, and are concisely written. I always enjoy seeing what you've been up to.
