30 Rock

After a little shopping on 5th Avenue, my Mom and I ran into Rockefeller Center. Very cool. We decided to visit "Top of the Rock" to get a view of Manhattan, it was awesome! I highly recommend it if you're visiting the Big Apple.

Down below, where the ice skating rink is (during Winter), right now there are a bunch of restaurants, and we had lunch there, which was very nice.

View from the plaza, Rockefeller Center was actually built during the Depression and was considered a very risky project.

Up at the top!

The Chrysler building, which we mistook for the Empire State Building, but were later corrected on a night tour of the city. :)

The view looking down, isn't that cool? (The big building in the distance is the Empire State Building).

The view on the other side-Central Park. It's so huge!! I believe I heard it was almost 900 acres!

It was a hot day, so I thought it was cool that you could see all the sunbathers (look closely) on this bit of Central Park.

Inside "Top of the Rock"

And finally, the Empire State Building, good thing I took a picture even though I didn't realize what it was!
