    Stuffed Silly

Natalie is notorious for stuffing large amounts of food into her mouth. Like, for instance, a whole string cheese stick, a whole quarter of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, a whole cookie, etc. Then, I guess it just hangs out there until it breaks down enough for her to swallow. I am so lucky my child hasn't choked on anything yet.

    Park Days

Nat and I go to the park nearly every day, it's a good chance to get outside and play! Here are some of Nat's favorites:
    The swing, of course!!
    The spring a mathingy
Hanging on the bar over the slide, no, not going down the slide, hanging above it.

    Living Room Makeover

My brother Jeff moved into a new house and took back his couches that were in our front room. So we HAD to go get new furniture (thank you, IKEA). So here is our new room, now it's actually useful, our computer is in the desk and Natalie's toys are hidden in the cupboards. I'm very excited because I really disliked the room before (no offense, Jeff). Everybody wins!

    New Rug

So here is my first rug purchase. It just came today, and I was so excited! The room I'm putting it in is very blah right now, so I thought this might jazz it up a bit. I loved this rug, but it's funny because it's actually a "juvenile" rug, for a kid's room...oh swell!

    Christmas Pictures

We took these at Laguna Niguel Regional Park for our Christmas cards, awesome job Shannon! She took the flower fields pictures of Natalie back in March, too. These are our first family pics since Nat was born.

    Happy Belated Birthday, James!

Okay, James' birthday was October 10th, but I still wanted to blog the party we had for him. We had the fam over and made pasta with three sauces, yum-O! Special thanks to Rachael Ray. Then we had cake, chocolate with chocolate frosting of course! Good times =)

    Chairs and Shoes

Two things Natalie loves to do: 1. sit on chairs, 2. put on shoes. She likes to try out all different kinds of chairs: kitchen chairs, barstools, office swivel chairs, benches, little chairs, etc. So James and I bought her a laughing, shaking Elmo chair (another one of Natalie's loves) which she sits on on occasion. But she still loves the big people chairs! If Natalie finds a pair of shoes, she will carry them saying "sssoe, sssoe" and Mommy or Daddy will then put them on her. Such fun!

    Most Embarrasing Moment

My friend Stephanie asked us to post our most embarrasing moments, hers was really good, by the way. My most embarrasing moment was when I was a Freshman in High School. I had Biology first period with mostly Sophmores and Juniors. I had started Seminary this year, which I had to get up at about 5:30 am for, so I was still getting used to this early schedule.

So I was in Biology and I fell asleep. Next thing I know, I wake up and the whole class is staring and laughing at me. I look down, and there is a huge puddle of drool on my desk, I immediately put my head back down and covered it up with my arms. I was shell shocked, I didn't know what to do, so I cleaned it up with the sleeves of my sweatshirt while the teacher tried handing me a kleenex (while he was laughing) and said, "Do you need some help?" I was mortified!!

Okay, so now it's the end of the year, about 9 months later, we're all signing yearbooks and one of my friends that happened to be in my Biology class wrote, "that was so funny when Mr. Kearle used an eyedropper and put drool on your desk, ha ha!" I had not known until that moment that the drool was in fact fake, and that the teacher was pulling a trick on me! I was actually quite relieved though. I hear that the teacher tells that story every year to his students and warns them that they better not fall asleep in his class.

    Pumpkin City!

James and I took Natalie to Pumpkin City last night for Family Night, it was so much fun! A great place for toddlers. She especially liked the Petting Zoo where she met many new goat friends, although the sheep were afraid of her. Then we picked out our pumpkin, Natalie liked to sit on the pumpkins. A very successful evening, we'll definitely be going back next year.

    Which one should we get?

    Touch. This one's pretty nice.

Natalie was so excited when we first went in the petting zoo, she was laughing hysterically.

    Feeding the Ducks?

James and I took Natalie to feed the ducks this weekend. She watched Mommy throw the bread to the duckies and then when it was her turn...ate it herself. Not a huge surprise for any of us who know Natalie well.

Natalie loved watching the ducks, pointing and saying "duckie!"
Ha ha, duckies, this bread is delicious! Don't you wish you could have some? Yum yum. Posted by Picasa

    Natalie loves her cousins

Natalie loves her cousins Maia and Jacob. They always have so much fun when they're together. Natalie also loves these little couches Maia and Jacob brought over, it was just her size...

    Pigtails

Finally! Natalie's hair can now be put into cute little pigtails. Mind you, they usually only last an hour or two before she naps or pulls them out or is trying to put something on her head, but I'll take it! She looks so grown up and cute!
